You know you're getting old if...

so now i'm on a roll with my lists! it's a good stress reliever that makes me smile! this one is funny since i will be going over the 30 year-old-hill in December! :) enjoy these observations in my sad little life! ;)

You know you’re getting old if:
You wear clothes for comfort now, no longer for style (i used to be a fashion icon back in the day, ya know...my cranberry metallic shirt was rad!)
You have at least ONE pair of Easy Spirit shoes (2 and counting...)
Your idea of ‘classic rock’ is the 80’s
You think putting on make-up IS a special occasion!
Ice cream is getting too cold for you to eat too much of (that's just devestating! even for me who can't eat dairy!)
...You're lactose intolerant! hahaha :)
Will pay for pedicures cause you’re too lazy to bend over and do it yourself anymore
Think massages should be considered a medical necessity and covered by insurance (no doubt!)
You have a morning and nightly routine you DO NOT like to break
2pm comes and you need an afternoon nap...
8pm comes and you are ready to "call it a night"
You look forward to come home and watch 'your shows'
You get in your pajamas as soon as you get home (no matter what time of day it is!) hahaha
You need an eye-mask to sleep because the light in your room is too bright
You need to wear sunglasses until it gets dark
Though you can’t drive with tinted windows at night...odd, i know
You think kids now a days play their music too loud in their earphones (they really COULD damage their eardrums!)
Kids yelling and laughing loud is starting to annoy you (well, unless i'm with them!)
Wish there was music on MTV…or at least a cool game show (i really did love Remote Control!)
Some part of your body aches when you walk (never mind play sports!)
You wish music could be more fun and lighthearted like the old days (that is the 80's!)
You remember how far $1 could get you at the candy store (oh man, i miss those 1,5,10 cent candy bins...)
Your purse gets bigger with every passing year...
The kids you used to baby-sit for are ALL married now, and you’re still not
Most of your friends are at least on their second child
No one has changed since your 10 year High School Reunion
When early twenty-somethings talk about their favorite shows, which are really re-runs of the shows you watched growing up!
...You are a child of the 80’s (face it, you're getting old!) but it's been a fun ride!!
