Trafficjammy: My new place!

well, i am no longer living in one room! (i actually did love it at the office - nice and close to work!) but now, i have my own place! :) as much as i've missed my home in the States, i am trying to create a home for me in Thailand, too - for as long as God wants me there! :) so that means moving out and paying rent again! the first place i looked at - i loved. i just moved into a house! it's awesome and so affordable ($200 month!) even though i don't own it (you can't own land as a farang in thailand) - i feel grown up in my own place!

it's a brand new, 2 bedroom, 1 level house - tiled floors and walls. it is a good space! i even have a lynchee tree in front of my house! (one of my favorite fruits in thailand!) i really love it and want everyone to come visit! :) it has such a cute kitchen, i may just cook in it!? hahaha. it was such a blessing to find such a great and affordable place, only 7 minutes from work! i have 4 close neighbors (same style houses) - mostly farang but it is a very Thai neighborhood (outdoor market down the street and playground). the day i moved in, there was a rainbow in the sky and my neighbor said it was just meant to be for me to live there! :)
