On the road again...

so, i am heading home today for a month! my original 6 month trip has concluded - i can't believe how fast it went.... it has been an amazing journey. God is so good. i am excited to see family, friends, churches soon, though! :) my good friend Liz
(i miss her already - we are together so much!) drove me to the airport and a few of my coworkers and their kids suprised me and came to say goodbye! it was sweet...well, one of them just wanted to make sure i was really leaving! hahaha (sally, can you guess who that was?!) :P what a card. i love it.

flight was good, i am, once again (and for the last time...sad) in business class for my journey to the U.S (thanx again to Dave!) i watched JAWS on the way over! then i realized i will be going to the beach in the new england area next weekend, and scared myself! :( no worries.... I'm exhausted already with only 2 hours of sleep so far....and of course, i stuffed my carry-on with books i won't read! i actually did journal alittle - amazing. so, it's 8am (Tokoyo time). i just relaxed in a massage chair in the same VIP suite i was at in January on the way to Thailand!
so far, the food hasn't been that great - but the chairs are nice and i love a hot towel distributed to me sporadically!! :) it's all economy on the way back...fun while it lasted! ****update**** the second flight was much better - great food and the most amazing reclining chairs! they were spacelike - i felt like i was in a 'mork and mindy' egg chair! :) awesome. they reclined flat - i slept on my side, people! sweet.

i head to NYC overnight to visit friends and attend a fundraiser, for the 6 year old little boy i mentioned awhile back, who is getting surgery on his heart. his sister was in our program and he needed medical help, so an old employee/friend of mine is fundraising for him - awesome! :) i just visited him in the hospital yesterday - what a cutie! :) he and his mom are in good spirits - *please keep "T" in your prayers as he has surgery on 7/3/06.

then i will be heading to Colorado to see my brother! :) i'm so excited to see him! what fun - brotherly/sisterly love is grand! i have LOTS to do and people to visit while i am home - i am excited about it (but may need a vacation when i get back to Thailand!?) :)
