My furnished home!
so, everyone has been asking for some pictures of my new place. I feel so fortunate and blessed to have my own house (rented) for so cheap! craziness. it is cute and wonderful and has provided me with a stability that i didn't think i could have, in this transitory life i lead! a place of my own to come home to and build some roots for myself. i struggle with being alone at night sometimes, but i know that God is protecting me and that has made all the difference. i have great neighbors and landlord. so, for now, it is home to me and i love it. (*shout out to mom: now don't think this means that i don't believe "home is where the heart is"...because i do - you and my family are my heart and it will always be with you, no matter where i land) :)
so enjoy and know that i did not spend a fortune on my furnishings - what a gift! you will all be visiting and/or moving here soon i'm sure - with the cost of living in the Boston area, let alone the USA!? :( you'll notice that my house is relatively 'clutter free' - it's a fresh start, friends! :)

My front door - where i like to eat breakfast on the weekends! (i know, it's sad that i never make time for it during the week)

My kitchen with a drive up window! hahaha

My Living room - thai style - complete with floor cushions (note to grammabuns: now i can always lie down no matter what room i'm in!!)

My wall shelf for all my 'clutter'!

My bed - i would stay there forever if i could - Thailand heat just makes you want to sleep ALL the time..?!

My 2 person papasan chair i found in a 'basket village' outdoor shop in northern thailand!!

My bathroom - tan decor to keep the room light!

The spare room - matching bedspread, curtains, and dresser just for mom!
*for a special treat - go to my friends blog - www.nataliemarkward.blogspot.com to see the (Ahka Hilltribe) Thai woman painting she made for my living room! it's "suay maak" (very beautiful!) ;) **check out her work anyways to hire her to do some work for you, too! she's amazing!!
