The U.S of A whirlwind tour: Part 1
Hello friends! i'm now back in Thailand - i know most of you have been curious to know what i have been up to for the past 2 months...i'm so sorry i haven't written lately - i just honestly haven't had the time or the access to internet readily enough! and i was having trouble downloading pictures...and i know you LOVE pictures!
so, of course, i am armed with pictures and stories to share! :) i had wonderful weekends with my brother, sister, family, friends, camp, and churches. i started my weekend in the USA in Colorado (wicked time changes though!?) visiting my brother! it was wonderful to see him - i don't know any other guy that i have more fun with! :) (my next boyfriend has big shoes to fill!) hahaha. We hung around town, watched hilarious movies and sitcoms (Scrubs and The Office (BBC) - hello? could that BE any funnier?!) :) we ate out (i treated him to his very first Thai meal - my favorites Pad See You (thick noodles in brown sauce with veggies) and Pad Thai (thin noodles with shrimp) with Khao neo mamuwan (mango and sticky rice with coconut milk - YUMMY!) and of course, we car danced! my favorite. he truly is the male version of me!

he was also gracious enough to share me with some friends of mine. we visited one of my co-workers from thailand who was staying in CO for the past 5 months to learn english. we had dinner with her and her cousins - it was fun - and she got to practice on new blood! :) she was excited and my brother got a little taste of thailand through her! very cool. "D" is doing well - enjoying the fast food nation and attempting to improve her english. thanx for your prayers for her! *i'm also happy to say that she will be coming back to work in late September to work on my social work team again! :)
my brother and i also got an impromtu chance to hang out with a friend of mine - we literally ran into each other in the Vegas airport going to CO on the same flight! :) it was really nice to catch up and meet his family - PRAY for him as he will be in Iraq for 4 months with the military.
and we saw the sites and sounds of Denver (Red Rocks)

and downtown in the rain...and of course, Boulder (restaurants and shops). much fun in a short 2 days but sooooo worth it! :) love ya, brutha

*this one is appropriately titled "Man and The Mountain" :)
