Update
Taken from the local newspaper: "BANGKOK, Thailand Nearly two weeks after Thailand's prime minister was ousted in a coup, tanks and troops are off the streets of Bangkok.
They were removed after retired army commander General Surayud Chulanont (SOO'-rah-yood joo-LAH'-nohn) took over as interim prime minister. Surayud says he wants to heal a country divided by the policies of his predecessor and settle a bloody Muslim insurgency in Thailand's south. He says he will travel soon to the region. Surayud met today with U-S ambassador Ralph Boyce, who says they had a "very good discussion."
Boyce says the prime minister assured him that Thailand would quickly return to a democratically elected government and protect civil liberties in the interim."

Keep praying, friends!
