Psalm 10

Feel free to read this passage on your own.

Psalm 10: 16-18 stands out to me, not only because it is quoted in a great book (Terrify No More) but also since my recent outreach experience in Bangkok - acknowledging that though there are evil individuals in this world that are out to harm those that are weak - God is not far from us even in the depths of despair...

"The Lord is King forever and ever; the nations will perish from his land. You hear, Oh Lord, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, in order that man, who is of the earth, may terrify no more."

I pray that peace will be with you today, as well.
