Thanksgiving in Thailand!
Ahhh, Thanksgiving in Thailand - what an interesting change of events! I was very excited for Thanksgiving, being my favorite meal of the YEAR and all...but i was saddened by the major fact that i wasn't in the US to celebrate with family. :(
it was a first for me being away from home for this special occasion - i truly missed the little touches that only a crazy family can provide! oohh, the mashed potatoes/peas/gravy combo to create a delicious "volcano" (a family favorite), the homemade stuffing, the sweet potatoes, the unique stylings of cranberry sauce, Pillsbury cresent rolls with soft butter, and finally the moist and delicious turkey with tons of skin! :) and let's not forget, shall we, the annual watching of A Christmas Story ALL day long on TNT! whoohoo! boy, i miss home. but i made some phone calls home and cherished the memories of yesterday....
all in all - it turned out to be a great celebration in Thailand. I 'thankfully' arrived home after a week of work in BKK and narrowly making it to the airport for a last minute flight home - business class!(ALL the flights in ALL the airlines were booked back!? The King's birthday coming up - the big Floral Show in His honor - the Prince of Bhutan visiting...i don't know - the hoopala of it all...) anyways, we made it home in time for me to get my dinner!

i am thankful that God is GOOD and good to me! i was blessed with 20+ friends and awesome food - 'Farang' style! :)
